Byzantine Rose

This is an example of the Byzantine Rose Weave.

In addition to the straight Byzantine weave it incorporates a mobius or also called, “Rosette” which is a chainmaille unit where 3 or more jump rings are linked together forming a rosette-like shape resembling a blooming flower.  The Mobius is unique because every rings goes through every other one creating a ‘layered’ effect.

I created this bracelet using 18 gauge .925 sterling silver handmade rings as well as a sterling silver hook and loop clasp
